About Doc's Dance Hall
Doc’s Dance Hall was founded by Donald "Doc" and Dorothy Miller, a couple with a deep-rooted passion for polka music and dancing. Proud parents of seven children and blessed with over 30 grandchildren and over 50 great-grandchildren, Doc and Dorothy have always been driven by the joy that music and dance bring to people.
Their love for polka takes them across the country, participating in dances at various venues. This lifelong dedication to the art of polka dancing ultimately inspired them to create their own local dance hall—a welcoming space where others can gather to celebrate their own love of dancing, family, and community.
While Doc and Dorothy host the beloved "Polka Jam," which draws friends and family from across the United States, they envisioned Doc’s Dance Hall as a space for others to celebrate their own special moments. Whether for the weekly dancing sessions, family reunions, weddings, or community gatherings, the dance hall continues to be a cherished venue where people come together to connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories.
